Prayer for the Reformation of Alcoholics

PRAYER TO OBTAIN THE REFORMATION
OF THOSE WHO MAKE AN IMPROPER USE OF INTOXICATING DRINKS

JESUS, I come to implore Thy mercy in behalf of the miserable victims of intemperance. Have pity on their unhappy families. In the name of the vinegar and gall given Thee to drink, I conjure Thee to destroy this vice which is the cause of a still greater number of sins than of tears. Amen.

In Thy Name, O Jesus, and for the glory of Thy Blood, hear our prayers and grant our petitions. Amen
